About The Company
Sunflower Community Supports is an NDIS provider that is seeking to grow our current allied health team. We are searching for a passionate and dedicated Occupational Therapist, Speech Therapist and Physiotherapist to improve the lives of our valued participants. We deliver a range of NDIS services with the ambition to create a positive impact in people’s lives.
About the Role
Our team prides itself on exceeding high standards of care with a professional attitude by creating a friendly, caring and comfortable environment for all individuals. Your role as an Occupational Therapist, Speech Therapist or Physiotherapist will include working in the disability sector, providing 1:1 services for NDIS participants with varying disabilities and writing associated observation reports and assessments.
Other duties include:
Providing ongoing capacity therapy using evidence-based intervention
Developing professional therapeutic relationships with participants and their families
Provide Ongoing assessments as per NDIS requirements
Planning and implementing individualised interventions to support NDIS goals
Writing assessment reports and end of plan reports according to NDIS requirements
About You
To be successful in this role, you will require exceptional communication skills and provide high standard customer service as well as the ability to work in a fast paced environment.
We are looking for a driven Occupational Therapist, Speech Therapist and Physiotherapist who will thrive in a collaborative environment and will be committed to upholding Sunflower Community Supports values and standards.
Candidates will also have;
Previous experience in Therapeutic supports- preferred
Capability to plan effectively, implement and evaluate treatment programs
Dedication to provide consistent and high quality care
Essential Requirements
Tertiary qualifications in respective field
Current registration with AHPRA
Experience within the community disability sector is preferred
Valid Australian Driver’s License with a comprehensively insured vehicle
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, aptitude for time-management and organise your own day, and high level writing abilities
Valid working with children check, NDIS worker screening Check, National Police Check and current First Aid Certificate.

Looking for Reliable Support Workers!
We are also consistently looking to grow our support worker team to assist our participants with completing self care activities at home and with accessing the community. We ensure that our support workers are paid a living wage and rewarded for their dedication to provide quality care.
To work with us a support worker you will need:
An NDIS Worker Screening Check
Drivers license & access to a registered and insured car
NDIS Modules completed
Cert 3 or 4 in care is preferred
Experience is preferred
One of the most important things we look for when hiring support workers is a positive attitude, reliability and the ability to build rapport with clients & get to know them at a deeper level. If you’re having fun on your shift, then most likely so is the participant you’re supporting. That is what it is all about!
